Xiaomi Humanoid
next-generation, unnamed
Xiaomi's in-house biped, trialled on its own EV line; not for sale, no product name yet.
Xiaomi unveiled a new 1.7 m, 66 kg humanoid at the World Robot Conference in Beijing on 2026-08-19 after about four months of training in its own EV factory. Lei Jun reports 90.2% success loading self-tapping nuts over three hours at a 76-second takt, and later 98% for two-handed operation at that station. The robot is an internal prototype with no price, no external customer and no sales plan; the figures come from Xiaomi itself.
Our verdict
A credible big-company programme with factory footage and numbers worth watching, but an internal trial, not a product. Stays on the watchlist until it works for someone other than Xiaomi.
