IRON was unveiled at XPeng AI Day in Guangzhou on 2025-11-05 with 82 degrees of freedom, three in-house Turing chips and a claimed all-solid-state battery. A dedicated line in Guangzhou was commissioned in 2026-09 and a first unit walked off it. XPeng's stated plan is mass production by end of 2026, first deliveries in H1 2027 and a European rollout in H2 2027, starting with stores and malls. No price, capacity figure or external customer has been published.
Our verdict
The most concrete Chinese carmaker humanoid schedule so far, but a schedule is not a product: no price, no buyer, no independent footage of work. Watchlist until orders open.
