MenteeBot 3.0 is a vertically integrated humanoid with proprietary actuators, tactile arms, camera-only perception and a hot-swappable battery. Mobileye announced its USD 900M acquisition at CES 2026 and published a demo of two robots moving 32 boxes across racks. The stated plan is customer proofs of concept in 2026, a first experimental batch with partner Aumovio in 2027, industrial deployment in 2028 and homes around 2030. No customer has been named and no price exists.
Our verdict
One of the best-capitalised Western-owned humanoid programmes, with a clear but slow roadmap; nothing is purchasable or deployed. Watchlist until a named proof of concept appears.
