Apptronik builds the Apollo humanoid with Jabil as manufacturing partner and Google DeepMind as AI partner. Mercedes-Benz has tested Apollo since 2024 (Berlin-Marienfelde, Kecskemet) and holds a stake; GXO (early-stage lab proof-of-concept) and Jabil (pilot validation) are named partners. In June 2026 Apptronik launched Apollo 2 (bipedal and wheeled) and a 90,000 sq ft Austin data facility, but describes it as a data-collection and development platform; Apollo 3, its 'commercial product', has no date.

Our verdict

Well funded with credible partners, but all deployments are pilots of a few units, there is no price, and the commercial robot (Apollo 3) is still ahead.
