1X NEO

NEO is a soft-bodied household humanoid. Pre-orders opened 2025-10-28 at US$20,000 (Early Access purchase) or US$499 per month, with a refundable US$200 deposit and US deliveries promised for 2026, other markets 2027. The Hayward factory started full-scale production on 2026-04-30 and 1X says the first-year run of more than 10,000 units sold out in five days, but as of mid-October 2026 no independently verified delivery to an ordinary customer had been reported. Hard tasks rely on remote human operators ('Expert Mode').
Our verdict
The most consumer-ready humanoid on paper, priced and orderable, but delivery is unproven and much of what it does is human-assisted; wait for verified deliveries before treating it as bought-and-working.
