Humanoid builds the HMND 01 in a wheeled and a bipedal Alpha version and focuses on tote handling and factory logistics. A Siemens test at its Erlangen electronics plant (announced 2026-04-16) reported 60 tote moves per hour, uptime above eight hours and more than 90 percent autonomous pick-and-place success. Schaeffler signed a binding phased agreement (May 2026) for a four-digit number of wheeled units by 2032, starting December 2026 at Herzogenaurach with a six-month validation phase at Schweinfurt.
Our verdict
One of the better-evidenced European factory humanoids, but pilots are small, the Schaeffler rollout has not begun, and its 34,000 preorders are non-binding.
