Figure's retired 2024 generation, which loaded sheet metal at BMW Spartanburg for 11 months.
Figure 02 is the predecessor of Figure 03. It was deployed at BMW Group Plant Spartanburg, where it was brought to a live assembly line loading sheet-metal parts onto a welding fixture. Figure says it ran 10-hour shifts Monday to Friday, loaded more than 90,000 parts and contributed to the production of over 30,000 BMW X3 vehicles before being retired in late 2025. The figures are Figure's own.
Our verdict
The best-documented humanoid factory deployment to date, but the evidence is Figure's own, and the robot has been retired in favour of Figure 03.
