Ameca is a fixed-base humanoid with a highly expressive face, built for human-robot interaction rather than work. Engineered Arts sells and rents it on request and documents repeated museum, science-centre and event appearances. A third-generation version was shown at ICRA 2025. It cannot walk and has no published price.
Our verdict
The best-known expressive face in robotics and a real product, but an entertainment and HRI platform: judge it as a social robot, not a labour robot.
